The golf Tournament "Torneo de la Amistad H-E-B"began on the year 2000 by the initiative of our directors with the purpose of promoting a closer and stronger relationship with our suppliers and at the same time to be able to help community following the philosophy of the company.

Through these years we have been able to organize 9 golf tournaments, the first four years were for the benefit of Cáritas of Monterrey, A.C. and since 2004 with the vision that the support of our suppliers will arrive to much more needy people we began to benefit the 10 Food Banks, the one in Monterrey and the others from the Northern Region of Mexico.

The past 2008 Tournament thanks to the support of our suppliers we were able to collect $233,076.00 USD helping more than 750 thousand people and 2,850 organizations of the civil society.
